According to the National Institute of Mental Health, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD) is characterised by deficits in ability to focus and pay attention, behavioural difficulties, and hyperactivity. Oakland School

Oakland School educates children with ADHD and other challenges throughout the year in both residential and day programs. A summer program is available to provide academic and personal enrichment. Talisman Camps & Programs

Talisman Camps & Programs offer summer programs geared for children with ADHD. Programs are divided into three categories based on age--Discovery (8 to 11 years old), Foundations (9 to 13 years old) and Explorers (12 to 14 years old). Small groups promote an optimal environment for skill development. The Explorer program provides a seven-day adventure in the Blue Ridge Mountains.
