The Indesit 1S70C is a front-loading electric tumble dryer. The thermostat inside the IS70C tracks and regulates the dryer's heater temperature. If the dryer is not producing sufficient heat or if it is producing too much heat, the thermostat may need to be reset. Reset the thermostat on an Indesit 1S70C to ensure that the dryer produces the appropriate amount of heat for a drying cycle.

Unplug the dryer's power cord from the electrical socket.
Remove the screws holding the access panel on the back of the dryer. The access panel is the larger of the two rear panels.
Insert the tip of the pin into the reset hole on the thermocouple. The thermocouple is a small circular metallic object with a tiny hole in the centre of it. Remove the pin after you hear a click. The thermostat is now reset.
Replace the access panel. Replace the screws that hold it into position.
