Turn the TV and Humax IRCI-5400Z satellite box off.
Disconnect the unit from the TV and electrical socket.
Leave the unit unplugged for 60 seconds. Plug it back into the TV and electrical socket.
Turn the unit on. The unit will begin reprogramming itself. Do not touch the box or attempt to change channels while this is occurring. Wait until the display shows the current time.
Press the "Menu" button on the satellite box remote control.

Scroll through the available menu options with the "Left" and "Right" arrow buttons. Press "OK" when "Service Searching" is highlighted.
Scroll, highlight and select the "Antenna Alternative" option, followed by the "DiSEqC" option. On the DiSEqC menu, press the "Left" arrow button to change the value to "Installer." Press "OK."
Scroll and highlight the "Motor Control" option. Press the "Left" arrow button to change the value to "Reset." Press "OK." The TV screen will now ask if you are sure you wish to reset the satellite settings. Press "OK" to confirm the reset.
