Two tank exclusion bars on the underside of a Char-Broil Grill separate the propane gas tank from the lower grilling chamber and provide stability. These bars are secured to the grill frame with a Phillips screw on each end. Removing the bars lets you access the underside of the appliance to perform maintenance on the grill or to disassemble the unit. Removing tank exclusion bars takes less than 10 minutes.
