With many radios in Nissan cars, codes are used to program and utilise the stereo system's features. These radios are installed at the dealership in most Nissan cars and the code can be entered from your driver's seat with no professional equipment or prior experience. Setting codes can be done as often as necessary and allows you to control your device.
- With many radios in Nissan cars, codes are used to program and utilise the stereo system's features.
Obtain your vehicle's factory code from the dealership or your car's owner's manual.
Insert your key into the ignition and turn it to the "Accessories," or "ACC," position.
Turn on the radio and wait about three minutes for the radio to stop playing without the car's engine running.
Hold down the "4" button on the keypad and a digit will appear on the screen.
Use the tuning button to scroll to the first digit in the code. Press "5" to confirm the digit and use the tuning button to go to the next digit. Press "5" again and repeat the process for the four-digit code. After the last "5" is entered, the code will be set and you can remove the key from the ignition.
