The Fellowes PS-67Cs is a small, portable paper shredder that is capable of shredding not only paper, but also credit cards, staples and even small paper clips. The device contains a built-in "SafeSense" automatic shut-off that keeps the shredder from overheating when a jam occurs. When the SafeSense feature is active, you can override the feature and restart your Fellowes PS-67Cs manually. You should only use the override feature after clearing the jam. Using the feature before clearing the jam can cause the shredder to overheat, which can lead to the device's internal components failing.

Remove the paper jam, if one is present, by unplugging the shredder's power cable, lifting the shredder's lid and pulling the paper out. Plug in the power cable after clearing the jam.
Move the override switch on the bottom of the shredder back toward the pyramid-shaped icon not containing a line. The yellow SafeSense indicator light on the top of the shredder will stay on and not flash.
TIP
When troubleshooting your Fellowes PS-67Cs, unplug the shredder before lifting its lid and removing any paper jams from the device. You don't want the shredder to come on accidentally while you are clearing a jam.
