GPS units, such as the Blaupunkt TravelPilot, can require a occasional reset in order to reboot the firmware inside the device and return it to normal operation. Locate the hole containing the recessed "Reset" button. It is found on the bottom of the left-side face of the unit, just below the SD card slot.
Press the "Reset" button with a non-conductive object such as a toothpick.
Hold the "Reset" button in for 2 seconds then release it. Wait for the device to reboot.
Locate the unlabeled recessed reset button on the bottom of the device, just next to the charging cable connector on the side toward the battery compartment.

Locate the power button--the large, central blue button on the face of the device.
Press and hold the power button in.
Release the button after 14 seconds, and wait for the device to reboot and return to the home screen.
