Viewsonic monitors may have settings that were programmed into the monitor that benefit one person on a computer, but not the other. Changing computers can also be a reason why you may want to reset your Viewsonic settings. Depending on the video graphics card in your computer, your image on the monitor may appear different. Resetting a Viewsonic monitor can be done within a few minutes. You will then be able to go back into the menu to configure settings specifically for your viewing preference.
Press the AC power button to turn off the unit. Depending on the model Viewsonic, the button may be located next to the cords that connect the monitor to your computer (VGA/DVI) on either side.
