Keeping track of the miles you have motored in your Mini Cooper is easy using the trip odometer. When your trip is over, reset the odometer to begin recording the mileage for your next trip. In 2007 Mini made major changes to all Cooper models, including the method of resetting the mileage. Both methods are simple and help you to maximise usage of the accessories in your Mini Cooper.
Insert the key into the ignition.
Turn the key to switch on the ignition, or start the engine.
Press the button on the speedometer next to the digital odometer display. This will change the left side of the display from the current time to the trip odometer.
