Vans Half Cabs are perhaps one of the most iconic and recognisable skateboarding shoe. Half Cabs can be laced like any other tennis shoe. But, unlike most tennis shoes, the Half Cab does have a classic bar lacing style to go along with its classic look. Your Half Cabs come with their own laces. Use those, or purchase a more unique pair that fits your personal style.
Thread the laces through the first two parallel eyelets (closest to the nose of the shoe). Pull each end of the lace through each eyelet from the outside of the lip to the inside. Then pull the lace so that both ends of the lace are even. If you threaded it right, the lace will lie on top of the lips, not underneath them.
