Making a playlist for your mp3 player depends upon the mp3 player you have. Some mp3 players do not accommodate a playlist.
Other players, such as iPod, require that you create a playlist in iTunes.
Some players, such as Sony Walkman, will allow you to make a playlist using Windows Explorer. Windows Media Player is software that can create and sync a playlist to your device.
