Laminate is a popular floor product because it is affordable, durable and easy to install. The protective coating on laminate flooring makes it possible to remove paint with a cleaning solution and water. Paint takes a few days to completely set, so you should try to clean up the paint stain quickly.

Clean the stained area with a vacuum to remove all dirt that could scratch the surface of the laminate floors when you are cleaning.
Apply a cleaner with acetone, such as nail polish remover, to a cloth. If the paint stain is from a latex paint, you can spray a latex paint cleaner on the stain (see Resources). Latex paint is easier to remove than other types of paint.
Apply the stain cleaner on the stain and let it set for one to two minutes.
Wipe up the stain and cleaner using a cloth and warm water. You may need to apply pressure to lift the stain. If the stain is not removed, repeat the process.
