Playskool’s Rose Petal Cottage is a popular little girl’s playhouse made from materials similar to an outdoor dome tent. The Rose Petal Cottage comes with plastic framework pieces and two fitted printed fabric covers that create two sections in the shape of a cottage with a separate stove. This playhouse is easy enough for one person to assemble in less than an hour, and the assembled sections nest together for easy storage.
Place the back panel on the floor with the interior facing up, and press both side panels into the back panel grooves.
Take the front panel with the oven door facing out, and press the front panel grooves onto the side panels.

Turn the stove walls upright and place the shelf inside the stove. Place the hob over the assembled stove walls and shelf, then press down to connect.
Remove the fabric door cottage cover from the bag marked “Door,” and unzip the two zippers for the rear wall and door frame. Lay the fabric cover out flat on the floor with the printed sides facing down.
Pull the exterior rear wall back from the rest of the cover so it lays flat. Place the assembled pink frame on the door cottage cover so the red connectors in the pink frame sit on the red seams.
Lift the main part of the cover up (the pointed section called the “peak” of the roof) and hold it on the peak (top, pointed section) of the pink frame in place with one hand.
Use the other hand to move the sides of the cover over the roof corners, then pull the peak and sides over the top of the frame; make sure all the corners are covered evenly.

Pull the roof peak and sides over the frame so it is evenly covered and the frame is completely inside the zipper.
Attach the fabric tab around the frame starting at the roof peak, then zip up the rear wall; adjust all the chimney and window fasteners.
TIP
Assemble the pink and white cottage frames before the rest of the cottage, using the connectors and tubes. To see how the cottage looks completely assembled, visit the Rose Petal Cottage demo page with videos on Hasbro’s website.
