Vuze is a BitTorrent client written in Java that runs on any computer that supports the Java framework. The software allows you to share media using channels and categories, and once a piece of media has downloaded, it then uses the BitTorrent protocol to share the media with other users on the Internet. This process of sharing is called "seeding" and takes a significant amount of bandwidth. You can disable automatic seeding using the "share ratio" ability of the client.
